:HARDWARE NOT DETECTED:.....is my AR cartridge broken?

I recently bought an AR. For 2 days things were working great. Now when i try to use it, it displays 'HARDWARE NOT DETECTED.....PLEASE INSERT AR CARTRIDGE".

I have done that and still nothing works. Is this a normal problem that occurs? Or do i have a defective AR?

Any help would be appreciated.


And i was just getting used to driving the GT One too.

I have had that happen with my GS2 which is the same dongle device. Usually I just take it out and then push it in as far as I can, and it will pick up from there.

Yes, same thing used to happen with my Gameshark dongle. I usually had to jingle jangle the dongle around in the socket to make it work. But one thing to consider here is that the dongle used to not function on my old PS2 that had a weak laser. I now have a new PS2 and have not had a problem with the Gameshark hardware since.

Who knows.

is there to much dirt?
same happened to me and would not stop untill i removed some dust.

That's what it was. It works now.

i had to clean the dongle connections before mine started working correctly again.
