Hey i dont ask alot of questions or post alot here but i have a question for yins, has anybody ever entered an endurence race to purposly finish last b/c it pays more that winning first when u just start the game and have little money and ****ty cars?

No...just do the super speedway with a corvette on stage 2 NA...easiest win ever. Or you could do the Time Trials first and get the Panoz Esperante (sell for 500,000cr). :)

doesnt last place in the enduros only give you like....10-20K? if you were finishing LAST in say, seattle...that would take you way longer than getting 10-20K doing the beginner races....:odd: wouldn't it?

Heh, can't say that I have. But I will tell you that the Roadster Enduro can be won in any stock Miata on T2 tires, for a total investment of about 25,000 credits. In a little over an hour you win 100,000 credits with a cheap car, and a chance at a Formula 1 car.

Welcome to GTP!

Unless you were to, say, start then quit as soon as the race started...

Yeah get it and sell it, thats the only compliment i can give to the Panoz, sale value is 500,000cr  :D

you don't get any money then if you do that....you havto actually cross the finish line in 6th to get 6th place prize money...if you just quit out you basically just add a loss to your ratio!:odd:

hehe!!! cool idea.
easy way to get cash w/o effort :)
you dont have to finish the race do ya?

I think that you'd make more money by spending an hour running the cheapy races than you would by deliberately throwing an enduro.

A Sunday Cup race takes what, 2 minutes to finish? Take that and add in the downtime between the races, and you could probably do 25 races in an hour... that's 25,000cr if you can win every time. Still more than most enduros pay for a last place finish, and probably not much more mileage on your car either.

but starting with a miata buying t2 and doing the roadster enduro sounds sweet :)

Yeah, but you can't do that right away. Those T2 tires aren't gonna pay for themselves, you know... :p

You can't do it first, no, but a stock Miata will win some of the very basic races. Run a few of those to get 10,500 and you're in like Flynn.

Or how bout this, use the rubber band trick on super speedway and win 10-20k while ur sleeping. :trouble:

Mclaren's right.... the Super Speedway enduro is the only enduro that run's itself lol....with the miata you'd be guaranteed dead last, but atleast you get the payout!

the downside is...it will start you off with
5 races / 0 wins = win ratio 0% if ya did it 5 times kinda thing....IMO not worth it...just run the miata enduro with the bone stock miata you buy (when you can get T2's) and your set!

(that's how i did it)

No unless your a total obsessive and you want a 99% win ratio, that doesn't actually achive anything apart from that stat.

No way, it would take too long. It'd be easier, quicker, and give more impressive stats if you rack up the wins in the short easy courses.

you could always start one of the two hour endurance races, do one lap and stop right before the finish line, leave for 2 hours, and then finish the lap... if you want easy money...
