Ive noticed it a long time now but lately its began to bug me and I haven't ever seen a post about it. Basically I noticed that certain cars are allowed to stay much much longer in higher temperaments and also move up the temperament bar much much faster than others.

Specifically I always noticed this with Honda's/Acura's, Zonda LM etc...I do quite a bit of Tuner Car/DCC races. Ive noticed in DCC specifically that the NSX LM car always just shoots up the temperament bar much faster than any of the other cars like the Fairlady 350z LM, RX8 LM etc. Also it can stay at a high temperament waaaaay longer than any of the other cars, even when its by itself for a whole lap or two. It drops down the temperament bar VERY slowly thus it can keep up or beat other cars like the 350z LM, RX8 LM that are actually faster.

In general any S2k, NSX have these capabilities over the other cars it seems. Check it out and tell me if you see the same thing. I noticed it on the 4 hour Nurburgring as well. Nissan's, Mitsu's etc tend to lay down like dogs once they are caught then passed as the temperament never ramps up fast while conversely their bar just drops fast unlike the Honda's/Acura's.

I mention the cars because if it was a "computer" Bob[AI driver] thing then every race wouldn't be like this. Sometimes you would see other kinds of cars exhibiting this trait. But Ive noticed it only with the Hondas etc. Im going to look to see if other cars are also programed like this.

No wonder the S2k Turbo is always so freakin' possessed in AI hands.

Honda is a competitor of Nissan ;)

LOL. This isn't about competition its about programming:) Its an artificial way of making certain cars perform better while seemingly making others under perform. It could have been with Mitsu's but it seems they do it with Honda's mostly. But when I get the time Ill check other cars in race series as well.

Isn't it kind of like a stress level? Like if you have opponents right on your tail they go higher up on the temperament?
I would assume the NSX is just a scary drive for poor Bob

If an AI S2k gets behind a AI Z, Evo etc you will notice if you switch between both cars that the S2k bar will rise much faster and after the pass check the S2k's temperament after its out of range. You will notice its still pretty high while the other car will be almost if not all the way back to blue much faster.

So if Car A is programmed to ramp up the temperament bar faster than Car B then when Car A gets to be in any area around Car B it will always pass Car B in the curves and straights. If Car B is just more powerful then on a long straight it will outrun Car A which is what happens between NSX-R and the 350z LM. But soon as the turns come Car A will pass Car B because Car B is programmed to ramp up much much slower than Car A. And after Car A passes Car B it will run away because Car B will start to drop off what ever little temperament gain it got at a much faster rate while Car A ever so slowly loses its temperament.

Hope I didn't cause anyone an embolism trying to get that last paragraph lol. Its not a complaint just an observation I figured Id share.
