that the side mirrors on premium model vehicle reflect the wrong side of the car???? how something so annoying was missed in 5 years of development I'll never know

Sorry, I worded this post HORRIBLY. You don't see the car's reflection but everything on that side of the car gets reflected in the opposite mirror.

The wrong side of the car you are driving? So like if I'm looking down one mirror I will see the livery (if there is any) that is actually on the opposite side of the car?
 
Or is the track on the wrong side?

That's nothing. We've had an Acceptable Use Policy requiring proper use of capital letters for eight years and people still miss it.
 
Maybe when you notice this you should be in this thread."You know you have ALREADY played GT5 too much when... "
 
Lol. Sorry sorry. Many years of cutting grammatical corners online I'm afraid. I'll remember to watch my caps lol.

So when you watch the back of your car, and say ride close to a wall on your right, you'll see the reflection in the left mirror. Don't ask me why, but I can't stop staring at it and it bothers me so much lol.
 
I have noticed this too.

For example, when driving and a car is in the blind spot on the right side of my car, I can clearly see the car in my left mirror. For one, it'd be impossible because the mirror is showing something that my own car would block the view of. Two, it's the wrong side of the mirror in a blind spot, making it even worse.

It screwed me up on some events before I figured it out.
 
They must be doing some of these oddities on purpose.
 
Yes, I was wondering about this glitch. It does get annoying, especially on longer races if you get a long ways ahead and start to get bored. Hopefully Kaz and the rest of the team can fix this, it seems like it would be simple enough just to swap the mirrors.
 
I lost a race because of this. I rammed into a car because I was trying to block another. Spun out and lost...
 
Does anyone know if there is a way to report this apparent bug to Polyphony Digital or the Gran Turismo 5 development team? I want to assume they know about it, but maybe they will feel more compelled to take action if a few people were to contact them about it.
