Has anyone got sick of Tuning Shop, Before Race etc. music?

I am really sick of every time i enter Tuning Shop i have to hear that same stupid song, at first i was like... alright. But later on the song just got sooo annoying. Same goes for before race music. Why couldn't they just let the song, currently playing, play on when you enter a race or any other location that switches song to the same song every time. :grumpy:

PD should release a patch that turns off this song switching or at least gives an option for players to choose.

Can anyone tell these guys somehow about this, i would really appreciate this.

You can make your own soundtrack from what I've read or does that not include menu music?

Yep, you can use any music you load onto your PS3. It's under Hardware>Audio in the main options menu.

Edit: You can select different folders for Menu BGM and race BGM :)
 
Ya,I know how to do it,I was just wondering if it included menu music aswell as main screen and race.
 
Custom BGM alter the prerace music, but not all the menus iirc

No, you don't get it, Menu music is fine. When i enter Tuning Shop or Car maintenance (or whatever it's called) it stops playing current song, that's playing and plays same ****ing song every time i enter it, very annoying. It could have just stayed the same song currently playing, it would be great that way.
 
You can do menu music but for GT Auto, Tuning Shop, and Dealerships it changes.
 
I was only suggesting you changed it is all.

Exactly! We need to tell PD to make music playing on menu to continue in GT Auto, Tuning Shop.

Dealer-ships is fine as it is.

Does somebody here has a Twitter, I heard you can leave a message there. We just need about 20People to do this and i think they will do something about this, because it would make GT5 better, most people just don't give a ****, so it hasn't yet been done.
 
Definately! Stops my BGM to listen to the dull piano and awful music.

Tuning shop shouldn't even be there and same with GT Auto! Get rid of it PD and combine both into the garage!! Saves a lot of time!
 
I also think this should be changed (or at least there should be an option for us to change it), but as we can't do it yet, here's my solution.

Personally, I usually do this: when I spend some time in the menu, tuning several cars for example, I mute the TV and turn on my CDs directly on my stereo, it has nothing to do with GT5, so it won't stop. Plus, you don't need to import the songs to your PS3 first.

When I race, I think it's irritating to not hear the engine (I need it especially for shifting correctly), so I use the original game noise, sometimes on a decent level while keeping the music turned on, sometimes when I'm all about to race I turn off the music and concentrate on the engine sound.
I never used the background music in that game, I simply turned it off (in the menu as well as in the races).
 
I personally cannot stand the pre/post race song with the kids singing. I tried to turn it off, but cannot find it in the song menu.
 
YES.

The pre-race music is killing me. Same with the tuning music. The NCD music is just plain annoying.

About the only one that isn't is the UCD/OCD one. Even then, I'd prefer to listen to all the other tracks over it.

WHY PD, WHY?!? :banghead:

I still can't believe they did that, they have such wide variety of music and yet they made 2 songs play for pre-race menu, 1 for Tuning Shop and 1 for Car Maintenance. This is just ridiculous.
 
simple solution. do what i do. i do it with all games i get or play. turn all music off. alot of game music is rubbish anyways so why have it on? ive had my music turned off on gt5 since last xmas. no need to create a thread about it lol.

Exactly. First thing I did when I brought this game was turn the music off. I don't know who's in charge of music for the Gran Turismo series but every game has had the most awful music. Even the sound effects when you click on stuff is hugely irritating. It all sounds so dated.

I just shut it all off, no music in game period. If I want to listen to music whilst driving I do that in my real car. When racing(or anywhere else in game for that matter) no music at all.

Wow, I really have to wonder what kind of games you play where the music is so bad, you must turn it off in all of them. One or two games doesn't sound bad, but every single one? Never had any game with music that mediocre. :crazy:

I most likely will get bored to death with GT5 if I don't have any music to listen to in it. I already don't find GT5 to be the most exciting racing game out there, so I need music to keep me into it. But that's just me.

I've had this same issue since GT4, the menu music gets really irritating after a while...
 
I don't have Race music, i turned it off, but i want some music to play when i am in the menus, but not that every time i enter different menu section i get a song chosen to that section, that music is just so ****ing annoying!!! Just enter Tuning Shop to see what i mean.

I turned all music in game off. The only thing I want to hear is the sweet music of the engine pumping sweet sounds out the exhaust pipes.:D

This is not a issue of music choice, nor whether to turn Race music On or Off.

It's about that some sections of menus (Tuning Shop, Pre Race, Used Car Dealership, Online Collectors Dealership and GT Auto) that has 1 track set to play for each one (Pre race has 2), and it should be turned off so the menu song currently playing keeps playing!

Because it gets very tiring to hear same song all the time, and there are many songs, that most of them i haven't even heard till the end because it cuts out when i enter one of these sections and hear same 10Second song over and over again.

I just want somebody to tell PD about this, so they change it.

Turning race music off turns off the music in the menus. You said it was annoying, and I happen to agree. I find my solution easier than contacting PD about something they likely wouldn't change (it took how many months to get mid-enduro saves?).

I want Menu music, but i don't want that there is same track for some of the menu sections, i want it just to play normally where ever i enter, but race.
