I've had this problem where after driving a certain distance with a car, then turn off my PS3 and turn it on again, the mileage would be reset from however far I drove the car back to 0.0 miles. Its happened to me before and I've been wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if its a glitch in the game.

If it has, I haven't noticed it... I know that if you are driving a car but don't go back to your GT Life screen to save before you turn it off it wont count the miles you drove.

I go back to the GT Life screen before I turn it off all the time and it has happened with more than one car. Right now, the IS F is the last car its happened with.

I just had this happen the other night. I can't recall that there was any issue with the PS3 shutting off before getting back to the GT Life screen. I had just driven a 0.0 miles car for several seasonal races and then when I started up the next time the car still had 0.0 miles on it.

The weird thing is that it seemed like it may have happened before on the same car. The car is the Volvo C30. I seem to recall that there was a seasonal specifically for the C30 back in 2011 sometime. I bought the car for that seasonal and then ran it several times. When I got in the car the other night to run the Hot Hatch Seasonal, I thought it was odd that the car still had 0.0 miles on it, but I had switched to the car 3 times (I usually never switch to a car and then don't drive it).

This happens to me alot on GT5, with both premium and standard cars, even after doing a manual save in the My Home screen. I always retain the credits, but will always lose one win and the distance of the last race. The only sure-fired way to prevent it is by changing cars (at least in my experience). Another thing to mention is that I never race online(to my own detriment), so I don't think it's an online issue.

Have a good one

Pretty weird to notice your car still has no distance of mileage even after having a run at several events, successfully earning winnings for the races nonetheless.

Interesting bug...:dunce:

I had a somewhat similar one back on the days of the Super GT race on Spa (B-Spec)... after the race was done, the mileage of the car Bob used did not changed...

But that's about it...

That happens to me from time to time and it's maddening for sure...I was in a virgin Nissan Schulze? N24 doing the 4hr of Nurburgring race. When I exited the game never got back to the screen page and I had to quit out. I was pretty sure I had lost the whole shebang but when I booted back up I was awarded everything but the mileage on the car. So I received the prize car, trophy and the credits but zero mileage to show for it on the car or in my profile...I couldn't even change the oil on the car.I worked for those miles and I feel cheated as I like to see big mileage on cars I drive.
