Has anyone played Battlefield 1942: Road to Rome?

I havent. I've only played regular battlefield 1942. And next time dont use so many smilies. Its just plain stupid.
 
I've played both 1942 AND road to rome, and I downloaded "secret Weapons of WWII" Road to rome is a great add one, it's not THAT many missions, but the artillery and vehicles it adds are pretty cool, Secret weapons is a retarded add on, it has "Jet planes" and "Jet packs" and all other retarded stuff, I deleted that. I personally have only played single player missions. Multiplayer laggs too much on my slow PC, fast connection slow PC...FOR NOW!!! HAHAHAH. Andway I can't wait till Battlefield: Vietnam, THAT is going to own.
 
Im gettin Both BF1942 and Road To Rome and how the hell did you download Secret Weapons thats not comign out untill like 4 months from now and Secrest weapons is awesome because its showing what the prototyp weapons were i n the 1940s you retard if you look up the weaposn they do exsist
 
ok nathan, for 1 the game has been DONE WITH DEVELOPMENT for almost a year, meaning there are tons of pirated versions throughout the web, second YEAH a jetpack exsists, and it cann't fly for more than like 15 seconds, unlike the Secret Weapon which is almost exactly like the TRIBES Jetback, The Supersonic jet, yeah they had plenty of Supersonic jet's in WWII :Sarcasm: As for the flying wing. Considering it's maiden flight was in 1945, in a research base that was overun Minutes after it landed., and the game was called. The XF-85 Goblin, the small little fighter jet, only 2 were ever produced, and neither of them ever flew. The BA349 Natter, which was the "Jet Powered" plane, was conceived back in 1939 and had a payload of unguided missiles, that did nothing but kill it's pilots throughout it's history, therefore, no succesful creation of it. The Wasserfall Missile which is in Secret Weapon, is some 1945 rendition of a Smart bomb, that also was never proven to work.. See my gripe about the fake game?
 
Nah Istill stick wiht my point fo view see Games are fake and number one I read the review of BF1942 when it came out and its not realistic I addmit but its a jump in and play version of WW2 its supposed to be fun you know not reality. Anyways the jet pack is meant for long distance jumping in the game with limited fuel. The Jet planes are to varie other flying birds i nthe game see nows theres more planes and different types of dog fighting too.

so for my final word I would say BF1942 Secret Weapons will be a fun expansion that will add many more things to the world of BF1942
 
ok I have to comment again now.... whoever thinks this game is unrealistic is wrong... how many games are there that are textured/modeled so realisticly? plus the maps are identical to the actual place except for scale. This game has almost every aspect of war there is. as for you Driftster they never claimed to be supersonic they were jets and that's all they were.... the game is called secret weapons.... it doesn't mean they ever had to be used or even put into production... all it means is that they existed... as for the jetpacks... if they only let you use them for 15 then why would they even bother putting them into the game. This game is everything but fake. As for you downloading Secret Weapons.... the multiplayer demo hasn't even been released yet... it won't be released for another 5 hours... Secret weapons isn't based of of weapons that were actually used.... its what could have been used.... even if it didn't work it existed and this game can show us what that war could have been like it these weapons were to exist and work. BF1942 is a great game.... probably one of the greatest....
