Has anyone tried GT5 in 3D?

I have seen several posts about multi-monitor setups, but have yet to hear from someone who has seen the game run on a 3d display.
I would think Sony Style stores would have a demo with a racing seat, wheel and pedals, and 3 display setup, all in 3D. Can't imagine that wouldn't boost sales.
Could you even do 3D on a multi display setup, or would the side displays be ineffective due to the different angle of view?

Maybe this site needs to have a 3D search button.

I have only played the game in 3D and i have enjoyed every second of it
1 of the main reasons why i still play is because its 3D and it looks good on my 58% plasma :)

Is your tv 42% led too?

tried it out when i first got my 3dtv in jan, wasnt bad, dont think i had it setup correctly as i think i remember a pop out the screen like imagine on a panasonic demo in currys prior to my purchase(samsung lcd) and i get none of that..

im especially curious as i recently brought killzone3 which is also 3d compatible and although there was quite a bit of ghosting, it was actually quite cool, certain parts had a pop out screen like image...

Workmate has 50 something plasma and I played GT5 one evening with it.

I wasn't so impressed with 3D option and eventually I kept playing without 3D glasses while workmate kept his glasses on. Even without glasses game still look out better than with non-HD (ready or full) TV.

Reminds me it still pisses him off I golded few of his licenses after 15 beers. :)
Well, that was game but don't drink and drive in real life!

Too few 3d users for PD to care about us. But they need to improve the settings, show some example screenshots or something, like a calibration screen, because it's freaking hard to to know what the setting are that's right for us. And switching 2d/3d is hard. It should be right there on the pause screen option or something. And be able to detect 3d 2d automatically, cause right now if you boot your 3d gt game on 2d tv it's just blanks the screen and you can't do **** until you hook it back up to 3d tv and change the setting back to 2d.

I've played a lot of the game in 3D, and generally I really like it and prefer it over 2D. I can't use it for night races — at least not the one I tried. I couldn't see anything, and I had to turn it off.

I have a Samsung PN58C8000 (58" Plasma), and I only sit about 5' away when I play GT5. I gotta tell ya, I know I look like a dork with my racing wheel, stand, leather chair, and glasses sitting just 5' in front of a 58" TV.

I think it's a little easier to perceive the subtleties in the track with 3D.

I haven't tried it since I first got the game (day it came out) so I don't know if they adjusted anything...but at that point the 3d really sucked.

From my experiences the cars are out of perportion. IE the cars look longer than they should while using 3D. That distracted me enough to not want to continue playing the 3D version

ive gotta say the first time i tried it i was blow away from how clear and real the image looked, especially in the home screen where it show you your car in various places :O i just sat there for ages! But yerh i agree with nxp3, it really does take the cheese biscuit to change all the settings and thing! but generally i just use the TV's own 3D function to convert the 2D into 3D and it works a treat on my sony KDL-NX713....gorgeous tv!

Yes, on an LED Samsung for a few hours... it wasn't nearly as impressive as Motorstorm Pacific Rift, which had much more depth and water and such splashing on the screen.

The intro movie was the highlight of the GT5 3D experience. I bet the finale movie of the 'Ring is pretty cool in 3D but I haven't seen it yet.
