Has anyone tried to diy a motorcycle sim controller for PS2?

I had an incredible idea for a complete motorcycle controller, but the only ones I've found are for PC and stuff. I also have had no luck finding sit-down style motorcycle arcade games, for just the stand and the bike.
I really don't think that the Yamaha PS2 controller is good enough for me, and is not worth getting for this kind of idea.
 
The problem is, that even if you did manage to build one, there aren't any games that support it.
 
It's called "Thrustmaster Freestyle Bike Handlebars" and I have one (somewhere...).

I'm looking to do a full-blown motorcycle. Maybe out of a DS2. It wouldn't be like a USB controller type of controller. Just a controller, if you get what I'm trying to say.
