Has there been a graphical update...?

I'm just wondering if there's been a minor graphical tweak recently - I've just taken a NASCAR out on High Speed Ring and noticed that there are shadows and reflections falling on the inside of the windows in cockpit view. This is the first time I've noticed this, so I was wondering if it's always been there or if this is a recent thing? I did do a search but couldn't find anything that gave me a definite answer...

Each update over the last year added and tweaked many little unmentioned things here and there visually. Each update may have changed so little people may not have even noticed, but it's certainly all added up and when you look now it is noticably more polished. I think the biggest visual updates have all happened in 2.0 through now.

Dynamic shadows have been there since the release.
