Has there been any word on filterable and ranked lap time leader boards?

Coming from other racing games to GT Sport ranked lap times has been the thing I miss most, Ive tried to keep up on the news but ofc can't keep up with everything and was just wondering if there was any confirmation of this feature for gt7?

No mention of it as far as I can recall but I would expect it to return, feels essential and we have it in GT Sport already. Would make zero sense to get rid of it. If something, I hope it could be developed a bit further with longer lists and filtering nations, etc.

I haven’t played sport since late 2019 did they update the boards to be perma? I thought they just shows them for the duration of events and that’s it? I mean like perma leaders boards for each track that you can filter by region/class/car. So you can find out fun things like who put the fastest time on Nurburgring in a mini etc.

Perma? Permanent? Well no, quite what you mention there isn’t available but the permanent ones would be the Driving School, Mission Challenge and Circuit Experience ones. Otherwise they’re timed, yeah. Sport Mode and Time Trial. But through websites like kudosprime the leaderboards are saved though, it’s not like they’re deleted and never to be found again once the events are over.

Game updates might make permanent leaderboards a bit irrelevant, but I would love to have them. If they did have them, I would like to be able to post times for different cars on the same track, times for the same car but different PP lvls, times for the same car with the same PP but different tires...
