I was at the tuning shop and got 869hp went to the garage it changed to 870 bought a different car got 469 it changed to 470hp does PD have a problem with the number 69 because this is happened to me a few times. Anyone else having a similar problem, (well not really problem because you get more hp) so situation?

Its not the number 69, very often the number quoted by the tuning shop or if looking at the part prior to installing it in your garage will be off by 1-2hp compared to what the tuning sheet will display after installation.
You'll see the same slight variation between the cars listed hp and/or PP between the thumbnail listing and the tuning sheet. Not sure why the numbers come up different in the various places but they do.:odd:

Thanks I thought because 69 may be something bad since its rated E. And the block out random words that are not even curses or bad.
 
I think it's because PD has only correctly programmed how power should be rounded in some of the power displays, naturally a computer would round 499.8 bhp to 499 bhp.

ahh, truncation error. It explains why sometimes there is a 1 hp discrepancy though.

Exactly. Which is also why the post claiming 2hp differences is most likely false, because rounding errors can only cause a 1hp difference. (and I have never seen a difference of more than 1)
 
Kind of stupid since in drag racing 1 or 2hp can decide win or lose
 
While doing the online seasonal events, my Ford GT LM would creep up a few HP after each race, and I would need to de-tune the car by a fraction of a point after each race.
 
You were breaking it in, that's why.
