It seems that whenever I go from a B-Spec race to an A-spec race, my transmission is set back to automatic. This is pretty annoying since I usually only remember to change it once I've already started the race. Seems like it would just stay Manual once you switched it the first time. Actually that should be the primary setting and Automatic should be the one you have to switch to.

But yeah, is going from B-spec to A-spec the cause or is there something else I'm overlooking?
 
Happened to me a couple of times as well. Not even sure I went to B-Spec, but I know it has switched from manual to auto on me.
 
Yes, this is a pretty minor nuisance that has caught me with my pants down on a number of occasions when I forget to re-check a car after B-Spec. It should totally stay Manual if that's what you use in A-Spec.

Does the same with me, and pisses me off, on occasion, when I forget about it.

Better to be pissed off then pissed on though right?
 
I thought I was going crazy but I see it's happened to you guys as well when switching for B to A-Spec.

Makes me think, maybe B-Spec Bob doesn't know how to drive a manual.
 
this is still happening in 2.0, and it infuriates me.

Its one of those things that is so obvious that it now seems like they are doing it on purpose just to punish people for using b-spec.

thats the only problem with the mentality of PD, they will only give you all the best features when they are scared into doing so by competition, ie forza...
