Has this new (2.0) glitch happened to you?

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to why this glitch happens, but it has only happened to me twice since updating to Spec 2.0, which is what I blame for this new glitch.

I'll be in Practice Mode, and when I go to start driving, the game drives the car for like a second (shorter than the three seconds as the game always does), then the screen quickly fades to black and also makes the same noise as you get when you pause the game. Almost instantly the game comes back with the sound that you hear when you start a race. It controls the car for the typical three seconds and then lets me drive. The only problem is that I cannot pause the game! It doesn't work!
So obviously I have the push the PS button and quit the game that way. :yuck:
 
I've never had this happen to me. Sounds terrible!
 
may be the update didnt install correctly? Try deleting and re installing the GT5 game data (NOT THE SAVE GAME THOUGH!). That's the standard procedure it seems.....but please don't delete the save game, only the data installed to the HDD when you select it in the GT5 options screen.
 
That happened to me twice and then my PS3 shutdown. :/ IDK what's going on either it all started after 2.0

I did that the day before and it still happened to me. I also had an issue when using the new karts in arcade mode.
 
I have a friend with the same glitch, sounds like a nightmare.
