Whats up. I have earned like 240,000 credits (sorry, I dont call it money) Well, I in the amateur league, and thinking about buying or upgrading. There are two races that matters. I have a Mercedez CLK, not the touring version. U get the CLK touring after beating the Silver Arrow later on. But, I have noticed that this car is not powerful enough like to make me get some gold's in the European Championship and German Championship series. So what do I do. Get another car?

Well, I don't recommend buying any cars (unless you really need to). So far I've only bought 2 cars (a Stang and an Altezza) because I needed them at the time. But on the other note, if you're lookin for a good car, do an endurace race. You'll most likely get a pretty nice car and a good bit of credits that you can play around with (at least 150,000). Hope that helps...

Im not sure how much it is, but if you buy an RUF RGT and depending on how well you drive you can make some serious $$ or a TVR speed 6 that car is also sweet. Oh and make sure you have enough for tires very important. :D

save up for a car you may need to buy for specialty races. 200,000 is not that much so save up.
Also, you can use any car in the german championship series, not just german cars, same with the euro and japanese, and american series (not the 3 race ones, the actual series). Depending on what cars you already have, I would recomend getting a skyline and beefing it up. Helped me through a good chunk of amatuer till I got the clk touring car, then my beloved vertigo.

Go ahead and buy any car that You think might do the trick. But don't save !

- if you don't like the car that you have bought, you can always reload the game...

Buy the TVR Tuscan Speed Six. It'll blow away the competition and can win you a Griffith 500 (best Spider/Roadster) or a Speed 12 (absolute beast) in the Professional League's Tuscan Challenge while making you 50K/win.

I used the SLK230 Kompressor to beat both of the LotSA races, so I'd bet that the CLK55 can do likewise given some tuning (especially weight reduction, suspension, and tires). I can't remember what I used to win the European race, but I used the Vertigo from that to win the other series (including the German Touring Challenge) in the Amateur League.

I was in a similar situation. I bought a dodge viper an suped it up as far as i could. win the first few series races on amateur ( japanese, american, european) then win the gt world league( you will get the TOYOTA GT1 Road Car.win everything you can with it, then supe it up and win the super speedway endurance(or any other) if you are lucky you will probably get an 'F1' car.

CAN'T LOOSE ( well i didn't)

let me know how you got on
