i ask because recently, i've been getting a LOT of shady emails in my bulk folder.

some stuff looks like it could've come fro yahoo too....but then again, anyone could have made the account. theres even one from a .ee domain. 1 subject was 'unknown' from hotmail, the other was 'warning' from .ee, and both were 30kb. the one from yahoo said, 'Warning about your email account.' i was tempted to open it as well but then i thought

i have no idea whats going on man (towely)

what to do?
 
Yeah. And if you use a mail retrieval tool, like Outlook. Set it up so you have to double click the e-mail and it opens in a new window. Don't have your e-mail tool set up to open the e-mail in a message pane below the message list.
 
oh, well....yeah i deleted them of course...but i just want to know if it possibly could've been a virus or something.
 
Do you have your virus scanner scan your e-mail. It would tell you what type of virus it was if there truly was a virus attatched to the email.
