All respect to every ones favorite drifting car… but have j’oll tried drifting in a Lancer?

So we have driven the rally-car in the rallies and noticed how it slides/drifts around those turns in the dirt. Well the news is, the road version. Has the same driving style if a YAW control is fitted in the care.
Along with every high Priced part and sports tires, a lowered but soft suspension and the YAW set at abut 70’tch, 90’tch this car is a smooth ride with great responses. (Personalizing the setup is better for u, as u may not like mine!)

Ok the other cars can drift no argument, but I have had problems with them, where same times I can’t execute the whole turn in a drift. But who’d think a four-wheel drive car can drift like I have seen my self-drift these Lancers.

...

So take that Lancer that is just standing there in the garage and tune it up nicely and go smoke same corners.

Now this reads like a write-up. But I’m still posting it here, because I who’d like u players to response to this Thread as if it is a question.

The question. How dough’s this cars stand up to the other
drifter’s?

Ps...I try and get same replay up same day... First need to get my hands on a video card.

I've tried drifting the Lancer EVO 7 before. It had lots of understeer but it could still be drifted, just need to accelerate early and the back end will start to lose traction, but for some strange reason the front end was plowing at the same time. I didn't have any luck trying to drift the car.

lol since i just restarted, i dont really have lancer yet, but i do have a Impreza WRX Version VI STI Wagon. I've been driftin with that in my races ^_^

I have only just made enough dough to buy one since my restart...

but i might get one as i love the lancer

Yeah, that's a major problem. Can't compete the drift. What I'm trying to do is give it soft suspension, front brake balance 2, back 24, then put the last two lsd settings to full poewr (50-40), and I used the VCD to 10% to make it feel like a FR.

The Rally Proto is the only care that I have two cars of. One for Rallies (this a gr8 car for this) and another for street racing-set-up. For street settings I set the LSD too very low in the front (5; 10; 15) and higher at the back (18; 40; 25) for less under steer.

ewww 521 hp.... no fun...lol
try it with 350 hp or lower
:o
:thatsodd: It's not more fun driving 350hp car, its just plain easier. Plus there is same type of charisma in having control of that power on the edge of a spinout, now that is fun. 😈

I was curious about drifting an Evo-Rally-Proto...When using Sim Tyres, what if you were to set the rear LSD really low for less grip but keep the front high for more grip. I mean you don't really need to worry about oversteer or understeer when sideways...But with a grippier front end, it'll give it the control an FF car has...Hmm.

Is this post in any way related to ME? Cause I noticed it says "bla bla bla. X??"

Am i missing something?

it is like algebra...he's using it as an "x" to define all of the Lancers:
-Evo IV
-Evo V
-Evo VI GSR
-Evo VI TMI (Stripe)
-Evo VI TMI
-Evo VI RS
-Evo VI Rally Car
-Evo VII GSR
-Evo VII RS
-Evo VII Prototype

:) Hope that helps.

But on the other hand, it does have a full stop..then X...hmmm :reallyodd

The only thing I hate about :mitsu: Evo's is those blumming roman numerals
