Having issues with Java for chat

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and updating Java, logging out and back in of my account, and nothing has worked so far, so maybe it's something with my account? I've also tried a different computer so it's not just my laptop. I would appreciate any help, thanks. This isn't the only time I've had this problem.
 
What sort of error message do you receive?
 
I get a message that says "Error. Click for details" after about 5-6 minutes of loading. I go to click on that, it opens up a small window that says "Application Error" in the top left, a ClassNotFoundException in bold, a white exclamation point in a red stop sign, then below that, a Clinet.class. then 3 options for details, ignore and reload.
 
Try clearing your browser's web cache.
 
AddOnChat, the service which hosts the chat feature here on GTPlanet, claims this is usually an issue with an old cache or an out-of-date Java install.

In addition to the browser's cache, you could also try clearing the Java cache. There are instructions on how to do that here.
 
Tried it, no-go as well. I appreciate the help, but I guess I'll just wait until java comes up with an update to overhaul the systems or something. I always get a menu for various options, and I've tried everything in that list, it hasn't done the job unfortunately. I'm sure there's nothing else I can do at the moment.
