I'm currently playing Gran Turismo 5 XL edition with latest update ver.2.11. On 28/3/13 I'm downloading the DLC Car Pack 2 using the Playstation Store and the transaction is successful. Then in my gran Turismo 5 main menu it appear the "downloadable content" button. When I try to open the "downloadable content" button it appear "no purchased content found". But I already purchased the DLC and successfully install it in my system. I already try to restart my system but the result still remain the same. Plz help me in this matter. I really need help n sorry for my bad English.
When your on the main page with "arcade mode" and such and go all the way over to the right to the last one. Is there anything in there? I think that is the "downloadable content" like you are saying. I know the DLC code in the XL was only good till march 31, 2013. But if you already put in the code, you should still get the DLC
Yes the "downloadable content" button on my right hand side beside of the "save" button. Actually I'm buying the DLC from the Playstation Store using the wallet money not from the DLC coupon inside of my game disc package. Is it got an issue if I using the PSN account (Malaysia) that I can't download the DLC?
Ooh, you are not using the DLC content voucher from the game? When you are in the PSN store and look at the DLC, does it say it is already purchased? I have not purchased any DLC from the PSN store. I would think you should have no issue since people from all over the world are playing GT5. I apologize i am not much of help. Hopefully someone can help you out.
Yes it say already purchased. For your info I got the DLC content voucher in the game and it state the valid date from 10/1/11-31/12/14 but when I try to enter the code it appear "the code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid, please check your entries" that is why I buy the DLC from the Playstation Store.
If your code is still good till 2014 maybe you entered it incorrectly? I know i can miss a number or letter sometimes. I know my XL DLC US voucher was only good till march 31, 2013. I would try entering it a few more times.
GT5XL is a US region disc. DLC is just unlock codes for data on the disc (or the update keyed to the disc) so you need US region downloads - which needs a US region PSN account to access the US PSN store.
If I create US region PSN account is it will effect my saved data that I have play using the Malaysia PSN account? What about the current DLC that I have been purchased are they still can be used?
You'll need to create at least a US account and download the US DLC from the US PSN store. This might include having to download the Family Packs if you haven't already.
Once installed into the Game Data File for US GT5, the DLC should become available to install in any gamesave from any region on your console - you shouldn't even have to play the game on your US account BUT... your existing Save Data may not work (in fact I think it won't - but I have little experience of this) if you try to play it with a new copy of the game from a different region.
