having problems need advice!!!

Hi everybody. i been tuning on the dodge viper acr and got mine running a 8.94. i know still needs work lol.my brother in law has the same car and couldnt get his past a 9.11.i gave him my tune and still no lower than a 9.08 even when i drove it. both fully upgraded and broke in, oil changed etc. why with the same tune are they so far apart on time.any advice would be greatly appreciated as we are kinda newer at doing the drags. we got our gtr's running even 8.97's but the vipers wont run anywhere close to each other.....
 
Why would you need help if your ACR is running 8.940.. That's over .030 fastest then anyone else!?!

Are you using skid recovery?
 
Probably have to time the revs right and learn the shift points. Having the same tune means nothing if you can't control those.
 
no we dont run any aids. and slash ive drove both of them its like his wont hook as good as mine. will the chassis restorer make any difference?
 
Your different reaction times and like Slash said.. Different people will run the exact same car very differently..
 
For example to my statement. I used the same tune on my ACR for a probably close to 50 times. Everytime. 9.090's. Got the shift points, dropped to 9.034. Shows you what timing the revs right and learning the shift points does for your times, and as I said, this may be the case here.
 
ok we will keep trying lol.today with the same tune mine is only doin a 9.04 i'm getting confused

If you need advice as such these times wouldn't be reached. Probably not even with 400m.

No start timing can make 9.080 become 8.94 unless on the 9.08 you started no revs. Even still I doubt those faster times were real without aids.

Sorry if it sounds like I am attacking you but I just don't see the proper credibility.

I hope you find sufficient help :)
 
He probably got his GTR time and ACR time mixed up :lol:

There's no way to tell if they are legit.. Get a photo with that time and also showing the g's

It doesnt even matter anymore because his times were pre 2.04 so its useless..

SRF duh... or he would have showed the correct picture... not some lame non descript pic of nothing...

That is obviously done with SRF. That looks almost just like my current ACR 👍
