Having problems with avatars.

I am experiencing problems with te avatar menu. It's not showing up in the menu tab when I hit my profile button. Also, when I hit my avatar in my profile, it tells me that I do not have permission to perform this action.

Hmm.. It seems I can't upload pictures, either.
