So I finally got time this weekend to sit down and complete the Lamborghini Seasonal Events. I was excited to take a couple of in race pictures of my Raging Bulls to use as wallpaper. But, I was having a couple of problems with photo mode during replay.

I just recently updated to 1.09 today, immediately before beginning the seasonals. I have never had problems with photo mode until today.

Here is a description of what I am encountering:

When I take a picture, and I am able to view it prior to saving, the vehicles seem to "jump" away from where there were originally (when I "snapped" the picture). The camera also shifts it's view to a different angle than what I was aiming at; and this is to a large degree.

The combination of these has left taking in-race photos impossible.

I am not saying that 1.09 is to blame, but I have never had these problems prior to today.

Anyone have any suggestions?

does it happen on other cars in other circuits as well?

Just checked. It is a SIGNIFICANT problem with the Seasonals specifically. But the problem is still there in A-Spec races; it is not as extreme as the Seasonals, but still aggravating none the less. I checked with multiple cars.

Well, I enjoyed photo mode while it lasted lol. I hope I can figure this out.

Also, I checked "Photo Travel," it is working normally, so the problem is specifically with the in-race photo mode.

I had the same problem trying to get some shots of my 430 on SSR7.. was like camera was broken. Try unpausing then pausing it real quick... when I was messing around it only messed up on about half the pauses I did. So just play with it a bit until it doesnt, or try to angle your camera based on the picture instead of the preview.(Annoying as hell though).

Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I'll try that, thanks. Ya, hopefully it does get fixed. I dont know who I need to contact to make PD aware of the issue though.

I noticed the vehicles jumping out of position before update 1.08. But it was a small distance they jumped, so it was not a big deal. My profile pic was one of those pictures. The camera didn't move though. The game may be moving things around to accomodate memory, CPU and GPU processing, etc. I also noticed you cannot zoom in too close as you will get a message from the game stating "Please zoom out more", or something to that effect.

That's because you're photographing a standard model, it doesn't happen with premia.

@OP: That shift is rather annoying, sometimes to get the exact angle you want you need to go through a trial-and-error process. Try and see how far 'out' your shot is and compensate for it when you place the camera.

Actually, I was photographing a premium model. But this isn't about me.

That's odd. I've never ever seen that message for any of the premia - even on full zoom.

I don't know, and I don't really care. lol

Like I said, it may have to do with memory, cpu, or gpu constraints, but isn't confirmed.
