Having trouble controlling GP4

Well...read the title. :P

It seems that every time I go to steer, it counter steers and automatically tries to find the best line...:odd: I switched off all driver's aids except for traction and launch control, and I tried increasing the steering lock, and decreasing steering assist, but none of it seems to work...please help!
 
great to see someone else picked up this game. it admitedly has a ton of bugs, but when its working right the game is amazing.

do you have the patches? i havent played gp4 for a while so dont know the most current one. i am guessing it probably wouldnt have anything to do with what you are describing but it might. i am not familiar with setting up gp4 for keyboard, so i havent gotten familiar with any of the bugs for that, haha. there is some complicated BS you have to go through to get the pedals to work on the correct axis'. i just remember setting the difficulty setting to pro. no problems with steering assitst for me.

i really suggest you try this game with a wheel. it is just awesome. with a keyboard it would probably be very frusterating driving without aids. momo force at www.newegg.com for about $100!!!
 
Nah, I don't think I can really get a wheel at the moment, seeing as i just got ADSL...:D

Hmm...yeh, I might get the v4.0 patch next month...
