Having trouble looking for a tv show

The tv show that I am looking for took place in a space ship, and had to have been made some time in the 80's or 90's. The actors were english (or at least had an English accent). All I can remember name wise is that it may have had 'red' somewhere in the title.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
