I know it's been covered before in other threads , but I've sifted through page after page of text only to find bits of what I want, so I thought I'd ask straight out and see, SORRY.

First the HD Loader question, just what do I need to get GT4 loaded and playable on the PS2. I tried just installing it through HD Loader today and it won't work.

I have HD Loader, the Network Adapter and the HDD already with loads of games on, and I also got my original copy of the Japanese version of GT4 in the post this morning. :dopey:

So what else do I need and how do I do it. :dunce:

The Photo mode question is the same, what do I need and how/can I get the pictures from the PS2 to my PC, and what format are the pictures in, JPG or something like?

Thanx and please don't hate me for posting the same questions again, I really want to know. :dunce:

There is no way to get GT4 running strictly from HDloader yet. Someone has managed to get it to "work" by transferring the .iso from thier computer to the HD and then booting HDloader and then swapping for the ORIGINAL GT4 disc, then booting that way. But still no true way to do it yet, strictly from HDloader.

In other words, you need a rip of the Japanese GT4 into the HD.

OH!

I think I'll just stick to playing it off the disc then. Don't suppose it's too bad loading from disc, it's just that I'm so used to the HDD now.

And idea why it won't work?

I've had a look at the disc on the PC and the PC says there is only 3.7 gig of information on the disc, and when I tried to install it with HD Loader the same, so if the disc is a DVD 9 some of the information must be hidden?

It is not hidden. The other half is in the other layer.
