HD video to PS3: Please help

Hi i have recently been wondering how to put HD videos off youtube onto my PS3. I have not got a HD screen on my computer so i want to put the videos onto my PS3 via a 1GB USB. And i only have an internet connection that is available in the study, which is not where my HD TV is. Please help

There are many ways. They are:
-Watching it off of your PS3. Go onto the PS3 browser and on the home page there is Youtube.
-Get Mozilla Firefox and download the add-on "Download Helper". Then go to the vidoe you want on your computer and at the top of the screen (near the adress bar) there should be 3 dancing balls. Click on it and download the video. Then you have to convert it into an .avi file or any other file that the PS3 can support. So use Any Video Converter and convert it (.avi works). Then put it onto your USB and plug the usb into your PS3. If you want to put it ON your PS3, go on the file (the "cursor" on it) and press the triangle button. Then press copy.
 
Does this work with HD videos?
If so how do you make them HD?
 
I would have thought that if you select the HD option for the video you want on you tube, download it and then convert it it'll be in HD.

I currently use a program called "Youtube Downloader HD" and it works real well. All you need to do is insert the youtube video page link and then choose one of the HD options that are available. It will then download the video in an avi format with the original youtube video title. Just be aware that the video sizes can be large since they are in the HD resolution.
 
Yep, it works on HD and the PS3 will display HD as as long as you convert it into the same resolution as the original file.
 
use Youtube HD Downloader, then save those videos on a storage usb drive and then watch the videos in your ps3.
