Well, um, this is kinda stupid, but I damaged the hdd case when upgrading my drive. The thing is the screws are made from very soft metal and one of them got "broken" (by saying broken I mean that the screwdriver doesn't bite, sorry can't remember the word for it), and I had to cut it with a part of the metal case. As you can see the hard drive is now attached to the case by just 3 screws. As if that wasn't enough, the blue screw got "broken" too. Now my question is, is there any way to buy a replacement case with a full set of screws (4 regular and 1 blue), and if yes, what is the procedure? Actually it kinda works as it is, but I'm sort of a perfectionist and it's really bugging me.

You stripped the screws, but that is easy to do since Sony put them in very tightly. Try calling Sony. They might mail you a new set of screws.

Try a different screwdriver next time. You may be using one that's not the proper size.

The problem is the metal casing that the hdd sits on is also damaged, the fixation point for one of the screws is missing (it's on the old hard drive) and I doubt they'll send a new set since the ps3 is not officially sold in here. The thing is I fly to Europe at least once a year and I wanted to know if it's possible to walk into a sony service shop and just buy a new set, or are all repair works done by calling the support and sending them the console if needed? Also don't expect them to do it for free.

I would call them up and ask if they sell a replacement HDD caddy and a set of screws, or if you can get a replacement caddy at a service shop. You may be able to remove the stuck screw by cutting a slit with a rotary tool and using a flat blade screwdriver to extract it.
