is any body dissapointed that you dont get full movement control of you head when using the in car driving view you do get left and right but i want to have a look inside the whole car, i mean they have taken the time to create a true driving position and full detaing inside just a shame to waste as this is the closest some ov us are going to come to sitting in these machines :grumpy: ......... has anybody played scarface? i think the music player is awsome maybe the same feature should be avalible on gt5 so i can listen to my music off the hard drive for those so so boring cash building races :dopey:

I like the idea of the music player and also the head movement. very like LFS etc but i must admit one of the first things i do and did in all GT games was turn off BGM in menu and race and up the SFX to 100%!

Maybe thats because the race music was so poop and i mite reconsider if it was my own personal choice. however i can still turn on my ipod in the same room and listen through a seperate sound system so im not fussed. :)

i play the ps3 over the tv tuner card in my computer, so thats a way to listen to music and race ... but the head movement would be very nice to have that but then ps3 controller needs more buttons maybe

and maybe a button that looks at rear view mirror would be good soyou dont have to move the pad as it can some times can dissoritant you into a barrier... and more guages would be good on the full screen view eg temp, fuel, oil pressure and turbo boost (on the other gt's but not yet seen it on gt5) or an option to customise a set ???

i didn't know you could look a left and right?

With the dpad on the wheel, you can look in all directions...You can even see the back seats, the A/B/C pillars, etc. I think it's very good already.

so thats only possible with a wheel? :( with every wheel or only the expensive ones hahaha

oh thats why, i only have the ds2 controller. :(

if you go into control settings you can configer the pad i find it best to use the right stick for the view then as a bonus you can take control ov the car settings in race i.e traction control the way i did it was in control settings and i set the R1 for menu the set the d-pad for navigation on the menu then thats it its like having the glory of an F1 stearing wheel on your contol pad hope this helps

I have my left/right view on the right thumbstick.. And the rear view on R3 and it works very well. It needs to be on an analogue stick, as its not just Left and Right.. You can actually pan across an entire 180 degree of view!

Interestingly, you could't assign look to the right thumbstick before the SpecII update.. This was one of the features they added.

Go through the Controller setup options.. it'll make a world of difference!

I have standard 6axis, L1/R1 = look left/look right, L3 = look behind

O enters the in race setup options and Dpad alters the value.

I dont use ghosts or the handbrake so that suits me fairly well.

:indiff: if only you could look up and down to admire these cars fully maybe a update will come soon 💡

I can only see left, right and straight back.
Are the pilar views only possible with the G25?

You can look 4 way with the wheel. Back in the day when Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Demo was released, it had an 8 way view.
Clearly PD wants to use the 8 way feature for FULL Gran Turismo 5 Game.

So I read you can set it to the controller? Can someone confirm this with the SPEC II Gran Turismo 5 Prologue? As well can anyone make it into the Sixaxis stick? I wonder if you put it to the stick, if you tilt it a bit, the camera will move a bit.

That works in the Replays (right stick), so don't see why not 👍

Think it would be a cool idea to have like, a way to get inside the car from the preview car screen, like you see the car in full 360° view and then hit a button it would open the doors and let you have a look inside :D

Does anyone think it would be kool if you could operate the wipers and lights if you drive in auto made there is an extra couple of buttons that can be used for things

and maybe the screeching sound the wipers make when operated on a dry windshield.
oh, maybe they could also add the water spraying device so clean the windshield from dirt and bugs :)
Oh, they'll have to add that too to the game.
Just imagine, it would be so ultra-super-duper-kool

...and pretty pointless (without weather changes).
same goes for the lights

ok with some sort of weather engine involved in the game it would be awsome it would break the harshness of them long long races
