So I tried the search function, but could only find one thread that was within a week of release. My question is, did PD update it at all to work in career and online, and did the quality of it get improved through any of the updates? It has intrigued me a little, so thought I'd ask.

I'm pretty sure it only works in arcade mode. Even after The updates..
