Am I the only one that looks at Slipz's shot and sees a wide angle photograph? Shouldn't it be on the 'OUT' poll instead?

Slipz, what was the zoom you used to take it (approximately)?

i thought it was fish eye vs non-fish eye? i really dont see any fish eye distortion in slipz shot.

The furthest I can zoom out is 16, right? I can't give a good number right now as I'm about to head to bed, but I moved the camera up in the air as high as I could (it's quite high at that location ), and then zoomed in until I got the shot as seen. I'll take a more thorough look tomorrow, but I definitely took the shot as a "zoomed in" type.

I said it because the Supra looks distorted to me.
Namely the hood. If you look at it, the rear of the car is much more angled that the hood, rear is at about 45º and front is almost parallel to viewers point, in comparison.

Anyway, theme explanation states 'out' is between 14/28mm, and 28mm zoom doesn't get you fish-eye shots most of the time, only on very specific subjects.
If you check the Clio on the 'OUT' poll, it's not fish-eyed either, but it''s also clear it was took with a <30mm zoom.

As in many cases and comps, most of the votes are made without full-sizing the shots, previews do just fine...

We should start competing with only previews, it would save hours of work.

Exactly, and that can be very frustrating, especially when putting so much effort in your work. But a lot of us respect eachothers work none-the-less, we know what we've seen and can expect from others

Probably because his entry still isn't loading for me, so I'd expect a few others are experiencing the same thing.

yeah, but, theres more to it than just the editing. no offense, TW, but, it just didnt grab my eyes and keep my attention like slipz did.
