The black Viper is a more suitable car for the theme. After all, I tend to associate black cars with mean cars.

Being that the Viper looks (I said looks, not IS folks) more blue than black, I'd say that the Merc is the more suitable car. Plus, i see more variation of colour in NTX's shot. Franz' (Franz's?) seems all blue to me.
