Alright I have projector lights on my truck with Xenon bulbs, good Xenon bulbs not the crappy AutoZone ones. However I was wondering what Bi-Xenon was. Also what color temperature is the best for lights, I have 7000K right now, but I've seen 4000K, 6500K, and 8500K as well.

Also I was curious about HID lights, I don't know a thing about them and all the places on the internet I go suck at giving me information. I'm sure someone around here knows about HID's. I'm thinking about getting them, but I don't know how they will work with a projector lens.

One more thing, I have one hell of a time in inclimate weather with seeing the road, would yellow lights help that out? I mean if I put them in my fog lights not for my headlights.

Thanks for any help, I just suck at lighting.

Lower light temperatures are more yellow, higher are more blueish.

In most municipalities putting HID's in a regular projector enclosure is illegal (and also dangerous--no one can see).

Really, it's illegal to put HID's in projectors? I thought a lot of European luxery cars had HID's in projector lens...or are those Xenon bulbs?

I've heard that BMW Xenons are technically illegal over there... is it true?... wish they were illegal here, can't see a ****ing thing when the BMW behind/coming towards you has his lights on.

Bimmer HID's were the first HID's I started seeing around where I live. I'm sure it doesn't violate any regulations......

As for the HID conversions, I really want HID, but they are just too expensive.

HID conversion are only liek 350 bucks which is worth it in my eyes for the added safety you get at night.

But yesterday I order a set of Yellow 2300K bulbs for my high beams, they should work much better in the fog, rain, and snow.

My dads\my future BMW has HIDs, not sure if they are illegal (if they where, why would bmw be able to make them?!) But I do know they are quite bright!

Any aftermarket HID kit is illegal, but factory kits aren't. But I doubt there is a cop in the world that would care about some lights.

. But I doubt there is a cop in the world that would care about some lights.

Cops here decfect your car if your lights even have a slight blue color when they feel like being an ass (Which is often).

Hell my headlights are a bright blueish yellow color from the projector lens...and my fog lights are wired up with 55W driving beams instead of 37.5W fog beams. I've never been stoped by a cop for my lights. But I'm sure in some areas they would have a fit.
