It's been over a year now since GT5 was launched and I've always wondered why can we turn on the wipers at will when it's sunny but when it rains or "snows", you can't stop them ? I'm starting to think that the graphic animation is dependant (rain) of the wipers. Cars with wipers on the back should work as well... they don't, but who looks behind anyways ?

When it rains, shouldn't the effect be sort of blurry-ish instead of a white foam sort of paint dripping effect ?

Headlights... ah. I always thought it looked like a dead flashlight, you can't see anything in front and when you turn the high beams on, it only "lights" the side of the road, like the signs and all, but it doesn't make the car in front more visible.

Convertibles... when it rains, it stays down, it should be teamed-up with the wipers at least.

when its raining, you cant turn off the wipers because its raining and if you turn them off because its raining. if you had the ability to turn them off, you wouldn't be able to see while you were in the cockpit view.

Then explain why we can turn them on at will when it's NOT raining ?

I'm pretty sure the rain and wipers go hand in hand in the animation when it actually rains.

And even with the wipers, we can't see much in front because the rain is "white". Japanese rain maybe...

in a 24 hour race where the rain can come gradually and if your using cockpit view it might only be a little bit of build up water on the windscreen thats needs a wipe every say 20 seconds, and there for not needed on all the time, its a nice touch if you ask me

Of course, I think you're missing the point.

Sigh.
