Has anyone else noticed how poor the headlights are. They do light up the road and You can switch between full and low beam. What Im pointing out though is they dont light up other cars. Ive just done the Special License on SSR5. There were a lot of black cars in the race. When ever I got close to one it was if my headlights stopped working?
By the way anyone who has all gold for this has my upmost respect. Its taken me all afternoon to get silver and bronze. Ive lost count of the times ive outbraked an AI car down the inside then its turned in given me a shunt in the rear and I get disqualified. At one point I was ready for throwing the controller out of the window but its a G25 attached to a Gameracer seat and I couldnt lift it up!!
 
Everyone is complaining about the shadows, but I think the headlights are the biggest disaster in the game.
What is the difference between low and high beam. High seems to just add some light close to the car. And then the light disappears when you get to a hill (Like in the Grand Tour)

Light close to the car are the low beams. In the Grand Tour, when the headlights turn on, they're on the high beam.
 
The only thing I don't like about the head lights, is that you can't flash them when they are on full-beam! Why!?
 
Most cars you can't do that. You flick them from high to low and back to high.
 
I think the headlights are superb. You try driving at 140mph at night on hilly roads and see if your headlights and reactions are any better.

I'm not sure why. Last night I was racing online (where everything is freakin dodgy) . It was the time cycle Circuit De La Sarthe. My head lights light up other cars just fine. Even a difference between high and low beams. I do wish the high beams were a bit more forward powerful, as driving at 220mph down that staright is kinda scary. In terms of lights in cars though I've had no issue. In terms of lights lighting things up, I wish you could get brighter headlights. The current setup though is quite realistic.
