So as the title suggests, my mum is getting me some headphones for Christmas..

I will mostly be using them with my Ipod nano which i have had for almost two years, the earphones that came with them are a bit battered and have lost a liitle sound quality and crispness so im looking to replace them

Price range is around £30 and im wondering if any of you can point me in the right direction of which the best one/s are..

..thanks in advance!:)

What exactly were you looking for in your next pair of headphones? There's a bunch of different types out there.

Do a little research on what kind you'd want first, maybe list down what you're interested in and then come back to us.

I have no idea the conversion differences but you could just get the same old style iphone headphones. You can get them cheap on ebay. Monoprice. Com also sells very good cheap headphones. I seen reviews and people say they are as good as $100 ones only they cost under $10. Supposed to fit slightly weird in your ear to some people which is why I suggested the old ipod ones also. Any idea what style you want? In ear, sound canceling, dj style, behind the neck, blue tooth, etc?

Sound cancelling would be usefull, as i mostly listen to it on the bus and you can hear paople talking and the drone of the engine over the music! its quite annoying!..

I own Vic Firth headphones that isolate 24db of noise since it has passive noise isolation. From what I've read is that active noise canceling headphones will only block out noises like the sound of the bus engine or fans and not people talking. I would only recommend the Vic Firth headphones if you don't mind people making jokes about you landing planes in the public(I know because I wore them in high school). If you can find something similar in the UK with passive noise isolation then I'd highly recommend it.

Lol ya man the bus is the worst. Everything is not only noisy but so loud too. Here is a list of the top ones for different styles http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...ones-25-pairs-tested-1029544/1#articleContent some are very expensive but there is a cheaper set in each section. These ones are supposed to be really good and fit around your price range too www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=soundmagic+e10 and these are the Monoprice ones that are cheap and awesome from what I have heard www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082303&p_id=8320&seq=1&format=2. Like I said before these last ones are supposed to sound amazing and are so cheap but some people say they may fit weird so depends how much you wanna spend.

Ok wow! thank you so far guys! ill think about it tonight and decide tomorrow (has to be tomorrow as mum is getting them saturday!)

Thanks again!👍

I was gonna suggest some in ear head phones, but it seems you have already passed the deadline. Post up what you got, i love seeing new headphones XD (and smelling them too......dont judge me)
