Can my liveried sls please weigh less than my debloated stock model? Thanks pd....also my lister storm is still in need of a diet....database changes are hard....

Lol!! Please can all new GT classed race cars weight a maximum of 1150 kg and a minimum of 1100 kg??
That Stealth Merc is just a joke, from the exhaust note to the cars weight!

It can't weight more than my R8 LMS and that car works just fine. Fact is most GT race car in the real world are over 1400kg.

This is not a fact...1100-1200 is listed for many gt cars...including the lister. The sls stealth weighs 1465 and the lister is at 1438. Both are consierably more than your r8 at 1300

If we are talking about heavy, then NASCAR cars and the Ford Falcon XR8 take the prize.

I wouldnt know I have been trying to get the ford for a long time to put it through its paces

And there are links on that page to the rest of the 2010 GT1 car specs. Between 1200 and 1250kg.

1400kg is monstrously heavy for a racecar. 1400kg fully wet with a full endurance fuel tank, maybe.

Nissan FALKEN☆GT-R Race Car '04 weighs in at 1360kg. That's pretty heavy, though it is AWD.

To be honest, I havn't got it yet either. But I remember in GT4 it was around 1500kg; a lot for a fully stripped race car. It didn't handle at a race car level, but it did held up well against other cars that weren't Group C or LM Prototypes. It ate up tires like crazy, though!

Honestly, the Storm performs really well for its weight and you may end up regretting weight reduction if you go that route, the burly V12 has some torque.

The xr8 should be 1350, as that is the weight of v8 supercars, though I'm not to sure if that's dry or wet weight though. And why are we talking about the sls stealth? It's not even a race car

I recall it being not very heavy, like 1200kg or something.

Most of the heavy cars fall behind when the computer drives them, one of the few exceptions being the citroen gt.

Acording to that one website yes. All are between 1200-1250 kg. However, they are from 560hp (Ford GT) to 650 hp (Corvette). And what is the hp on your SLS? Going by the site you give us that your car should be 500 @ 1340 kg to run in GT3. http://gt3europe.com/cars.php?market=false&key=44 & http://gt3europe.com/cars.php

Also, you said for a GT car. There are lots of types and classes of GT car. It all is dependent on where you are running. Not all GT cars are governed by th FIA. The SCCA GT classes are closer to a tourning car in FIA. Do some reading up on all types of racing and thonk of what "that" cars is running up with.

They are not all governed by the FIA but the sanctioning bodies use very similar rules toleave the door open for teams from other series to participate in their's with some modifications(ballast, tire sizes/compounds, aero package). Just look at Grand Am, their rules(IMSA IIRC) are pretty similar to those of FIA GT3 so this year there's quite a few GT3 teams(or their cars) coming over from Europe to compete in the series.

The lister storm seems about right for the model represented (GT). The GT1 versions (GTS/GTL) would of been better than the GT2 version represented.
