I bought this PS4 game yesterday after seeing loads of feeds on Twitch. It came out on Tuesday and is a great blast in multi or single player. It's like a cross between Destiny and Gauntlet viewed from almost top down. The story is effectively a homage to Starship Troopers with a similar humour in it's view on multiple alien (enemy) and your (worthless) life. There's lots of bug and robot blasting but also plenty of strategy planning required. Friendly fire cannot be turned off which works brilliantly. Sometimes the biggest challenge to keeping your team together can be your own stupidity/incompetence.
It's so much fun, especially in 4 player co-op mode. Warning, don't get out of a moving vehicle you are driving as you'll run yourself over. There are loads of ways to kill yourself aside from standing still and letting the bugs chew bits off you. It's the most fun I've had in a new game in a long time. I'll still be online in GT6 but I think it might become my new favourite and will certainly fill the void until Project Cars is released.
