You probably already know me if you hang out in the Automotive forum section, and I've been here for like two years, but what the heck. Might as well introduce myself anyway.
How did you find GTPlanet?
Like I said, that was two years ago, so I really can't remember. It may have been when I was searching for a list of GT5 prize cars. That sounds about right. Shortly after I made the notorious create-a-nation game before leaving the site for about a year, returning last fall.
Where are you from?
I was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and I have been living just outside Lexington in Jessamine County for about 9 years now. Technically I don't live in a city, as I'm between the city limits of Lexington and Nicholasville, so the only police around are the Jessamine County sheriffs, and since the area is usually peaceful I rarely see any cops within a mile of home.
When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I first started playing almost exactly nine years ago with Gran Turismo 4 on August 10th, 2005. I had given Gran Turismo 4 to my dad for his birthday. Turned out I got more use out of it than him. Back then I didn't play GT too much as I was more interested in arcade-style racing games like NFS Underground 2. It wasn't until 2012 that I got good and really became addicted to GT5, which carried over to GT6. Also have GT3, but I'm not a big fan of it.
Do you play with a steering wheel?
Nope, I play with a gold DS3. I'm simply too cheap to pay for a controller that costs more than the game I'm using it for.
What other games do you enjoy?
I love the Codemasters games, my favorite of which is Dirt 3. Rally racing in that game is epic. The game isn't nearly as good as Gran Turismo, however. I also like shooter games, which came from playing MechWarrior as a child. I was once addicted to Call of Duty but lost interest after Black Ops, and OI currently play Battlefield 4. Also like creating racetracks in the Forge mode of Halo 4 and racing warthogs and mongeese on them. I sometimes play AtWar, and internet Risk-type game... but way better than Risk.
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Well if you know me you know I love to debate, whether it's politics or the coolness of cars.
