Hello, I am TangoUniform from Colorado, I have been following GT5s progress through GT Planet for about a year now and decided to join up so I can get in on the WRS. I have played GT since the first one, but something about GT5 has me much more excited, I have gone nuts getting ready for it. I bought a G25 for GT5P and then got tired of chasing a computer stand around the theater room, so I bought an Obutto cockpit (I love the set up, you can actually use the clutch and H shifter) then I found out it was going to take a lot of disk space, so I replaced the HD with a 500Gb drive, but now I have the game and am ready. I am hoping that GTP offers a place where I can meet like minded gamers/drivers that race clean, talk a bit of smack (but not nothing you wouldn't say in front of your mom) and help each other out. I belong to a mature gamers clan that mainly plays FPSs on the PC, but I doubt I will be doing that for a while.
I added a PSN account using ID: GTP_Tango, but sadly I have put a lot of time into getting golds in the license tests on my main account. I am not complaining: A) this is not GTPs issue, its PSN/PDs issue they are going to have to allow for clan gaming, now that GT5 is online; and B) it will just help me get better.
I don't feel like adding to the pot in the WRS thread and since this is my own soap box, I have been a member of a clan for 6 yrs now and really like the clan tag, even though there are a number of punks out there that will try to ruin a good thing, it does weed out a number of them. A clan/club puts people at ease, should you make a couple of mistakes, most will easily forgive you and not take it in malice. Its an ice breaker for new relationships. I say keep the tag, besides a number of people are saying they have got all golds in less than a day, it took me all day to get the national A and B golds hopefully it won't take that long the second time.
Thanks to the leaders for putting this all together, I know how much work it takes to do this.👍
