Hey, I would usually come to a forum and say "hey, I just found this place, hi!", but actually, the truth is I've probably lurked the boards for a year or 2 now, and I actually just now decided to register :P

Some of you probably know me from IDW (you know who you are :) ), and some of you probably dont, which is fine, because I probably dont know you either! :D

So, erm... something about my Gran Turismo life... er... well I've owned GT4 since its UK release (March '04) and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. No CD death, no memory card corruption, its turned out more reliable than a Honda. :)

I've had all 3 previous GT titles, although I never bothered with the Concepts or other "small" Gran Turismo's.

So yeah, thats it. Say hi and stuff :P
 
Hi welcome to the planet, officially at least since you've been lurking (not near anyones bedroom windows I hope). As you'll know there's so much more to this site than just Gran Turismo, it's good that you've taken your time (and a lot of it) just looking at the site. Since saying take time to look around is probably pointless advice in your case I'll just say enjoy the boards and welcome.

Also I would recommend GT5 Prologue (if you have a PS3) because it might be a "small gran turismo" but its well worth it! :D

This place is great for talking about everything not just GT, real community atmosphere I have yet to see anywhere else on the net...

I kid, but don't just think this place is for GT games at all. In fact, I don't even post in the GT areas anymore (or play GT for that matter). But I am still quite active here because of the community and all the other crap we've got here.

Ditto. Well pretty much, I didn't catch the part about the Grand mistake. But my post would be almost just like his because I don't hardly post in the GT forums either but I do participate in the other areas of this forum.

So welcome, officially since you just registered, to the Planet. I'm sure you already know all the rules and what goes down here.👍
 
Welcome to Gtplanet I'm a jerk and seemingly surprised that no one told you to avoid Famine (way too lazy to use the indigo font). Don't avoid him. Hug him if you can. So anyway, what exactly motivated you to join the Planet?

Look around further, though I'm sure you have already. There are many good, knowledgable people here, except for Danny.

Robin.: I have no PS3 unfortunately, I'm planning on getting one when the price drops a bit, or if GT5 or MGS4 (2 games I'm really excited for) comes in a bundle pack with a PS3. GT5 Prologue seems good (looking at Youtube videos), and if the full thing is as fun as Prologue looks, I'll be in heaven!

HACKr: Hug Famine, check. And what motivated me? Well I guess I just wanted to talk to more GT fans, and get involved in some competitions (not that I'm a good hotlapper, its just I find it fun). Since the Gran Turismo scene got quiet on IDW, I still had a thirst for racing with other people, so, I finally signed up here!

So, thanks again for the warm welcome :D I feel like crying now :P

No, you didn't. I did :p My point being that I haven't put more than 30 minutes into GT4 since... last February I think.

The "d" I put on there is just me being retarded because I always think the "d" is silent from the French classes I took :dopey:
