Hello on GT7 the Toyota TS050 doesn’t seem to have the mid range turbo upgrade it once did. It has 986 hp overall but the most I cannhet it 493???

You've packed a lot into the title - rather too much in fact - but I'm none the wiser.

You're saying that the Toyota TS050 has 986hp, and should have 986hp, but also you "cannhet it 493" and it shouldn't have "the 493"?

And this is due to a mid-range turbo it had but doesn't have?

Can you clarify?

"It has 986hp" maybe a quote from wikipedia or another site?
"but the most I can get it [to?] 493" the information that gt7 does something different?

I don't know :D

Aren't you confusing your memory with the GR010 Hybrid, which had its power output adjusted in a half-baked way?

It actually makes the intended 986hp, but 493hp is all you see because that's its combustion engine output.

That being said, the top speed physics for some Gr. 1 cars in GT7 are slower than in GT Sport for some strange reason.

The game does not account for combined hybrid output when it comes to hybrid prototypes, notably LMP1 and some LMVGT's (also even some road going VGT's such as the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta, where it has an 869hp combustion engine with 202hp from its hybrid systems, not to mention the Lamborghini VGT as well, producing 774hp from its combustion engine, with a 33hp hybrid system output.)

Every other hybrid in the game does represent total combined system output though.

Hello ! The TS050 is a LMP1, the GR10 is a Hypercar so it's not the same regulation.

Also, all Hypercars/LMDh's make 670hp at all times (641hp for the BMW M Hybrid V8), even when the hybrid system kicks in at a certain speed, then disengages.

i hope one day meatbags will be replaced (another category) with self driving and we will get another Group C+ era with top performance designs. all those hybrids lmp1/hypercars look like some halfbaked **** just for the sake of regulations/safety. i would personally even enjoy it more (maybe even would watch it) cause it would be the battle of engineers (the true chads behind racing)
the point is, one of the biggest problems with racing are the drivers who can die.
