Hello everyone, a few days ago I downloaded an excel file from this site with many setups, namely 544. But I can not understand things and I would like to ask some questions.

1) I noticed that there are 3 types of settings for each car, respectively: FWD, RWD and AWD. What changes between these three types of settings?

2) These settings are good for any circuit?

Is also welcome any advice on how to set the gear.

I wait answers, thank you all!

;)

You also forgot 2 more types, MR and RR. It tells you engine location and drivetrain. MR=Mid-Engine, Rear wheel drive. RR=Rear Engine, Rear wheel drive. FR=Front Engine, Rear wheel drive. FF=Front Engine, Front wheel drive. 4WD=Front engine, but power goes to all wheels.

Yes i know that. My question is: There are three types of setting for each car, for example Acura NSX '91. The different between this 3 type of setup is situated on the LSD. Now, i don't know which setup choose, can you tell me the advantages and the disadvantages to make a choise over another?

and mainly, this setups are good for any circuit?

Sorry for my bad english lol

If you are referring to the A, B and C setups. They are all stock setups. You can also change each one for example. A setting I use for Daytona, B setting for Indy and C for Nurburg. Each car can have up to 3 setups per car. If things get confusing you can also name each setting. Is this what you were referring to?.

Days ago i downloaded this file --> https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=168122

Now, when i open one of the 544 file, i have this situation:

My question is: Why are there three types of setup (even if they are very similar) if we have only one car (in this case the AEM S2000)?!??

Those setups, are good for every track...?!?

Hope you understand ^^

That is supposed to be a way to quickly tune a car. Just ignore the columns for the drivetrains other than the one your car has.

You will get a basic tune from this that should be okay for most tracks. However I suggest that after you apply the tune you spend a little time trying some minor adjustments to it for best results.

Finally ^^ Thanks a lot. Yes, you're right, i have to spend so much time to try to improve this setup, even if i'm not good to do this lol

:D
