Using the 10,10 method, I can apply the decal wrap on top, on the bottom, on the outside of both sides. But... I cannot figure out how to apply the decal on the inside of the left and right sides? Am I missing something or can you not wrap over that section?

I just align with camera at a certain angle. Multi level wings are done the same way to get decals on each level without touching the others. I’ve never had any problems. You can’t always align straight with the camera to make it work.

Like said above I guess it’s just some cars. Try it on the 650S GT3, it’s impossible to get any decal on the inside part of the side wing.

I've actually meant to revisit my first ever livery (made on the Gr.4 650S) made in the beta and make it on the Gr.3. I have to check this out. I'll get back to you once I've tried my few methods :D

Good luck! Let me know if you find a way! :D
Weeeell I saw the problem. It's no wonder why it won't work. Sadly.

EDIT: There is one solution to not lose the carbon fiber, though.

Not to worry @Tou2istTrophy. There's a solution though. Just don't paint the car at all, just a apply solid color square covering the entire car in the color of your choice. Sure, you won't get any fancy color but the color palette should work fine for most liveries for it, right? :) That's what I'm going to do anyway.

The problem with this is, you can not get rid of the orange paint that you can see through the engine bay window.

Also, no matter what you do, I found that there are still some orange visible (for example around the front lights).

Have you tried playing with the Angle/Depth settings? Decals don't bleed around corners very well, and this causes paint to come through on areas such as you mentioned. Setting the angle limit to -10 should fix this (or maybe it's +10 I always confuse the 2)

Yep, but on this portion of this car in particular, it doesn’t work as it should.

Does that portion of the wing come under 'body' I wonder, seeing as it takes the body colour paint?

It’s still under rear wing.

I guess it is a bug/glitch with this car, and maybe some other cars I’m not sure. Wish I could inform PD.

It's not a bug/glitch, most cars' spoilers are the same. The paint will colour that area but you cannot apply decals to it. My solution is to paint the wing in half matt black (as this looks most like dry carbon from a distance) and then colour the wing with decals.

Can't say I had any orange bits when I made my design, I usually always max out the angle limit too, so the decal placed won't have jaggies around edges like around the hood etc. I might've overlooked the engine bay but down there it doesn't really matter to me anyway.
