Help!!! Fanatec Carrera Wheel Calibration Problem!

Hey guys, I've got my Carrera Wheel last week and I've been playing with it fine and love it! but recently, the wheel don't get past calibration! It spins to the right as it does normally, and it spins to the left completely and gets stuck there with 888 displayed.

I can reinstall the firmware on the wheel and it works sometimes after that. After powering it down for 5min and powering it up again, it just does the same thing and get stuck. After multiple attempts and observations, I noticed sometimes the centre calibration is 360degrees off to the left. My guess is the wheel is sensing the centre as more left than the wheel can actually rotate and therefore jams. Any help?
 
Contact Fanatec! If it's broken, you probably get a new wheel. Much better solution than bumping your thread and waiting for help.
 
Yeah, they've not replied me yet, probably because of new year and stuff.

Anyway, I'm encountering problems in step 2 of the firmware installation. It keeps giving me error. I've got Microsoft net 4.0 installed instead of 3.5, will that make a difference? I've also checked that the files in the folder are not read only. Man, this is frustrating.

In addition, I'll have to find a box to send the wheel back as I've thrown the box in which it came with (not the Fanatec box, but the mailing box).

My Advise is to checkout www.911wheel.de and contact thomas there. He is the best when it comes to solving your problems and arranging warranty work if needed.

Not sure about that. GT 5 hasn't arrived yet, and I've successfully updated the firmware, but wheel still stuck during calibration, keeps spinning to the left... :(
