Help getting pictures onto iPod Nano (2G)

I recently removed photos I had on my iPod to make room for a new set, but despite this the Capacity bar on iTunes is still showing 8.2MB of "other" - and no pictures are currently accessible on the iPod itself. Now I'm trying to transfer the new photos, but it's not working. I selected the picture folder I want trasferred then hit 'Apply.' They appear to sync up, and a photo cache is created in the picture folder, but nothing gets transferred. Still 8.2MB of "other."

Help, please?

Go to My Computer --> Find you ipod and there may be some things there you need to delete.

The photo folder is empty.

You could have iTunes format the ipod or you can delete all the folders on the ipod to start over.
