Help! GT5 won't load for me!

Basically whenever I put the disc in it loads and does everything as normal up until it starts loading the race/time trial, etc. It just goes tot he end of the load bar and stays there for an eternity. Also I can't turn it off through the remote or the main on/off button when this happens; I end up going round the back and flicking the switch to turn it off. (By the way I have already tried downloading it on to the Hard Drive, and this only happens with GT5.)
 
It sometimes happens. I think it has to do with the game because it happened to me in both of my PS3; my old Fat and my new Slim.

It doesn't happen when I'm logged into the PSN, btw. Just to let you know, when GT5 has problems connecting to the server it will increse your loading times to ridiculous levels and it can also make your PS3 freeze. But you should be able to reset it without turning off the switch at the back of your fatty; doing so will only hurt your console.
