HELP GT6 IS AUTO BRAKING

My GT6 is auto braking for some strange reason.. After I updated just a few hours ago, I noticed that my car automatically brakes in the race. I have ASM, Traction Control (I like to drift), Skid Recovery and those other useless driving aids off. BUT WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I am really frustrated now. I can barely beat my opponents in huge time gaps. Some details are: Novice A race, 15th Anniversary 86. Yes Novice A. I restarted.. :lol:
 
Dirty potentiometer (got a wheel?) - happens to us all - clean your pedals.
Messed up controller? Is your girlfriend's elbow pressing the brake button? happens to us all - change positions.
 
i don't think it's any hardware stuff or my girlfriend's fault.. it's the game.. it's braking everytime i get around a corner at high speed or near the tail of a car upfront.. it's really messing up my drift momentum n'all. any ideas?
 
Sounds like some sort of demo-mode. We don't have auto-braking do we? Do you see the red brake line when it happens? So you are sure it's a braking effect and not something else? And I guess you know where your e-brake is, so it's not that...
 
oh yeah, i found out the problem.. i set left analog up and down for acc and brake.. pretty dumb move hahaha. but it has a strange auto brake effect.. learned my lesson
