Help: GTA V Update 1.17 doesnt download

Hey guys,

I've been trying to download the latest GTA V update yesterday

But i cant get passed 0% and as the matter of fact i cant connect to the rockstar site either

Any help getting it working would be highly appreciated

Thats odd because i only have problems with Rockstar and GTAV nothing else

Yeah i've never had any issues with GTA updates. Hope you get around it.

Have you tried loading up single player and going to the online tab and getting the update that way?

I've heard that the smaller HD PS3's are not able to get the latest update as the game is now to large.

This is something I had read and have no proof. Google it if you have a small Gig unit.

I havent tried that yet but i tried resetting my modem (as my ps3 has a wired connection) i even tried getting the update through the XMB menu

My ps3 has 320gb it was the biggest available at the time i bought it and its not a slim either

My update froze too. I had to turn off/on to get it going but the second time worked.

change primairy DNS to 8.8.8.8 and secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.

This worked for me.. found this info elsewhere ..info comes from Sony Playstation.
