S2000 or Rx7 FD?
I don't know which car has more potential in power or drifting..
Are you talking about real life or gt5?
A few questions we need to know:
1) How old are you and how far are you from being able to drive legally?
2) What is your budget (large, medium, or small will do since most of us will not be familiar with Indonesian currency values).
3) Will the car be a daily driver or just a toy?
2) don't care. Because I found their used price almost same.
And if they're both in your budget, go and drive them. You're the one that has to live with your choice. Not some faceless gonk on the interspace who tells you that one is a better drifter than the other.
A 2005 S2k can be yours for the low, low price of $18,000, an '06 for $2000 more and an '07 for another $2000 (based on edmunds) - pricing isn't all that high. So anyone living at home with Ma and Pa making minimum wage could swing the $300 car payment pretty easily. The Grim Reaper1st point : How at 17 are you going to afford an S2000 or RX7?

Oh, wait. He is from Indonesia. I retract my previous comment as I have no idea what it's like there. I barely know what it's like here.
While, again, I don't know what all that runs exactly, I can still see it as fairly doable. It's all about motivation. That is still alot of money to be lumping yourelf with at 17. Then there is the fact that he plans to run in competitions with it, which these costs could easily spiral out of control, with tyres, damage, entrance fees, etc.
Honestly, I hope he does go into competition otherwise he'll be drifting on city streets. 👎I highly doubt his running it for competition, it just sounds like a teenager excited about his first car.
Despite the presence of many wide roads, Jakarta suffers from congestion due to heavy traffic, especially in the central business district. To reduce traffic jams, some major roads in Jakarta have a 'three in one' rule during rush hours, first introduced in 1992, prohibiting fewer than three passengers per car on certain roads.
Jakarta's roads are notorious for undisciplined driver behavior; transportation laws are broken with impunity and police bribery is commonplace. The painted lines on the road are regarded as mere suggestions as vehicles often travel four or five abreast on a typical two-lane road. It is not uncommon to encounter a vehicle traveling the wrong direction in a given traffic flow. Furthermore, in recent years the number of motorcycles on the streets has been growing almost exponentially. The vast sea of small, 100-200cc motorcycles, many of which have 2-stroke motors, create much of the traffic, noise and air pollution that plague Jakarta.
"Don't care" is not a good answer. I didn't ask which car was more expensive. I asked how much money you had to dispose on a car. Because depending on how small your budget is, the correct advice on which car to buy might be "neither".
