Help I can't use some of my cars!!!!!!!!

Ok so my game decided it would lose the version1.11 update completely I don't know why, I looked at my game and it had returned to before the update IE:No Senna and a few more things missing. I closed the game and reopened gt6 to be met with an update is available--you guessed it version 1.11 so I downloaded it which took 4 hours to do.
Now I have Senna and everything back, the trials I had completed before are now back with my times so I thought good all is ok. How wrong was I in my garage a lot of my cars have a little yellow explanation mark on them and each time I press x to select one of these cars it says "The information for this car is missing please download it again" and I can't use that car.
What in the name of all that is holy is wrong with my game.

Interesting...if your cars are there then the save data is not corrupt, I think.
Try deleting your update data (NOT YOUR SAVE DATA) and then re-download and install version 1.11.

I think, he just re-installed it, it would basically 8 hours of his life wasted.

Sounds like 15th anniversary cars DLC files have been removed from your HDD, possibly your installed game data got messed with. Get on PSN and redownload / reinstall the DLC and those cars will work again. When you got bumped off 1.11 you should ov noted the game version displayed at the top left of the main menu, probably was 1.00. That's why Senna events etc dissapeared.

The only cars that will have that yellow indicator are DLC cars when the DLC files are gone or corrupt.

Check your PS3 is activated (System Activation) for game data.

Thank you very very much my son just re-entered the codes which came with the game for the 15th anniversary edition and as you said it is all good again the only thing which is odd is in my garage the list of cars normally has a small picture of the car now there is no pics at all, when you click on the car in says update image you click update and the pic is back. I can get the images back as I use the cars as it's a bit of a pain click car after car after car just to update the images so I will updat as I use that car.

You can update more car images just press Select on you controller and tick the boxes that the car has no image and then press Update Car Image(s).

Thank you it is taking a while but it's a lot of cars to update.
